Mike Bentley and Alison Rickman put the finishing touches to the Outhouse Artists Studio in the garden of Susie’s Tea Room in Appledore. Alison makes and shows her carnival costumes on Thursday. Friday, Saturday and Sunday have two artists each day using the space as a temporary studio. There’s also 2D and 3D work on display and for sale.

Meanwhile on Thursday and Friday Rosie Burns is leading a Banner Making workshop for children at the Appledore Community Hall. See the Appledore Brochure for details

A photographic artist who has built up a unique vision of the world through his digitally constructed images. None of his photographs are simply photographs; most of them are made from up to 100 separate images layered, like strata, on top of each other to build up an impression of what it is like to be in a place, giving the viewer far more than a visual experience.
