‘Playing with Light’ Saturday 27th March 6.30pm on Westward Ho! Beach, North Devon

This is your last chance to enjoy the dark nights, before the clocks go forward!

– the making of pictures at night using light sources available to us. The price is £25 per photographer but please bring a torch swinging friend at no extra cost. BBC members who did not get the chance of taking part in our ‘Playing with Light’ members evening earlier in the year are welcome to a free place on this workshop. There may be extra ‘free’ places nearer to the date dependant on bookings from the public. It is hoped that the Creatives can put on a ‘Night Light’ spectacular during the Potwalloping Festival in Westward Ho! at the end of May. Please contact Dave Green if you’re interested.

A photographic artist who has built up a unique vision of the world through his digitally constructed images. None of his photographs are simply photographs; most of them are made from up to 100 separate images layered, like strata, on top of each other to build up an impression of what it is like to be in a place, giving the viewer far more than a visual experience.
