Old Manteo Postcard

The Friends of the Burton Art Gallery and Museum have joined Bideford Bay Creatives as partners, in the Bideford/Manteo Postcard Exchange, through a generous donation of £100 to help promote the Exhibition. Bideford Bay Creatives welcomes all submissions from members of the ‘Friends’ which they are encouraged to make without needing to join BBC.

If you haven’t already had the leaflet with details about the project please download the pdf’s or Word document below. Alternatively you’ll find a some in the Burton’s reception area.

A photographic artist who has built up a unique vision of the world through his digitally constructed images. None of his photographs are simply photographs; most of them are made from up to 100 separate images layered, like strata, on top of each other to build up an impression of what it is like to be in a place, giving the viewer far more than a visual experience.
